       The internet is defined as " a global computer network providing a variety of information and communication facilities, consisting of interconnected networks using standardized communication protocols". Basically what that means is, it is a intertwined network providing  about all or most of the information you could possible want. There is no sole inventor of the internet, it is more of a collaborative  effort. There are two scientist credited with the invention of the internet but they really only invented two key components. The two men coined with these inventions are Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn. They invented what is known as Transmission  control protocol or TCP and Internet protocol or IP in 1973.        When I first found out that I had Digital Media I thought it would be very challenging. But after Professor Roundtree explained what the course was about, I was excited for the challenge of Digital Media. My name is Bryan Piccirillo. I'm from Long Island, New York. Some fun facts about me are I'm very competitive, my favorite sport is football, I like to go to the gym, I like to travel, I like to learn new skills, and I worked in a deli for a summer. Some hobbies I have are playing sports, I played Football, and Lacrosse in High School and I have made some great memories and life long friends along that journey. I also stated previously how I like to go to the gym but in specific, weight train. The gym to me is a place where I can get away from all the stress and anxiety of life and not have to worry about anything.
