Autoscopy

Image
This is my Autoscopy project. I like how the project turned out. The reasoning behind the background and layout of the project is a little complicated. The format of myself in the photo is called "Stamp Texture" on photoshop. The reason I put myself in the sky is because stamps travel all around the world on envelopes. The reasoning behind my whole project is to emphasize my desire to travel the world when I'm older. I want to explore new areas of the world I have not yet been to and to learn things about other cultures. I love to travel and go vacationing to nice places so I thought it would be a good idea to do my Autoscopy project on it.

Calligram

Image
This project took me about 4-5 hours. It was really difficult figuring out how to get the text to go where you want, especially with the football lines on it. I decided to take the lines out of the ball just to make it easier to see the words and also because I couldn't figure out how to get the words to go into the lines. The reason I chose to make my Calligram a football is because I am really passionate about football and its something I care deeply about. I have played the sport my whole life and it means a lot to me. All in all I liked the project and was interesting to figure out how to get words into a shape or image.

Self Portrait Poster

Image
On the left you can see the image that was used to be the nucleus of my poster. My posters slogan is "Color is all about perspective". This ties into my life because I am color blind. All my life I thought I saw the world how everyone else does, I had no idea I saw "differently" than most people. I started to notice I see things differently when I was in about 5th grade. People would call out colors they saw on the teachers screen and I just didn't see the same color. I found out that I was color blind when I did a color blind test with my family. We sat down and did it and I couldn't see the numbers (your supposed to be able to see a certain number to pass the color blind tests). My mother had told me that my Grandpa was color blind and it was a hereditary trait. My brother is also color blind. Color really is all about perspective. We all see different shades or even colors, our eyes all work differently. No ones eyes are the same and I...

Logo

Image
The reason I decided to make this logo is because I am aspiring to become a doctor. It has been a life long dream of mine to help save lives. One of the best ways to do that is to become a doctor. It takes years of hard work, dedication, and drive to become a doctor. Its a grueling and painful process but in the end it will pay off. My mother is a doctor and has been a huge inspiration in why I would like to become one. We often follow in our parents footsteps and I am quite proud to follow in my mothers. My logo is an object often used in the medical field known as a stethoscope. It is what doctors use to hear the heartbeat of a patient. I blend in the initial of my first name in this logo to make it more personalized. All in all this logo means a lot to me and is something that I strive to become and something I am working to become.

Photoshop HW 2

Image
https://www.instagram.com/kirbyjenner/?hl=en   This is one photo I believe it would be hard to photoshop myself into because of the shadows and the lighting of the photo. https://www.instagram.com/averagerob/   This is one photo that gave me inspiration because i think it would be cool to put myself on the cover of a sports illustrated cover. https://www.boredpanda.com/funny-photoshop-troll-james-fridman   This photo made me laugh because he made the guy have a bald head. https://www.boredpanda.com/reality-behind-photography   This is an image I would like to recreate because i think it looks very cool.

TagBrush Artist Statement

Image
Bryan Piccirillo         This is my Logo Tag Brush. This will be used on all my Pixel projects as a "signature" per say. It is difficult to choose which one I would like to choose but there are multiple options. Overall though I like the blue one. I think I might rotate it or add something else but it is pretty much what I want the tag brush logo to look like. What we used to create this tag brush logo was a combination of things. We first outlined our logo and placed it within a paint splatter background. We then added a scratches background which made it look rugged and old. Then finally we added a negative background which made it look faded and original. We used these backgrounds in layers and added them on top of each other to create an overall effect. Last we added color to these tag brush logos and that is how I acquired this final product.

Photoshop HW 1

Bryan Piccirillo Neon Light Effect Photoshop Tutorial - YouTube      In this video, it teaches you how to use photoshop in order to create a neon barrier around your photo. This is a cool effect because its as if the photo is being illuminated by a luminescent light source. This video also teaches you how to create a smoke effect which is very cool. This tutorial uses the crop tool to cut out any unwanted barriers of the photo. you then use the pen tool to create whatever shape you want the neon effect to be an then draw it on the photo. Create a new layer and click stroke path, select the brush tool. First add a color overlay. Bright colors work well. Select inter-glow effect and set the center to white. Now select outer glow and select the previous neon color. set the shadow color to the neon color. Add an ambient glow. Now if you want a larger neon effect, create a new layer and repeat the steps.  How to Turn Photo to Cartoon Effect (with Caricature Style) -...
